Kurt Karhoff is President of Holland Remodeling & Building specializing in Insurance Restoration, Residential and Commercial Construction, FHA 203(k) Loan Contracts and Award-Winning Projects. Kurt is an ambitious businessman running an exceptional business serving Northeast Ohio. Kurt is responsible for creating and organizing events that attract the cream of the crop by Building Relationships with Wine & Chocolate. It was Kurt’s vision to bring business professionals together, on a monthly basis, to take in the beauty of local wineries at no cost to those in attendance. Kurt’s Wine & Chocolate events attract crowds of 200+.
As much of a visionary as Kurt is in business, it is secondary to his passion and pride for his community. Kurt is dedicated about giving back to the community he does business in. Kurt has a heart to serve his community by helping others that have fallen on challenging times. As a result of his commitment to give back, he has co-founded United Community Caring, a charitable organization, dedicated to making a difference locally.
Holland Remodeling & Building is the recipient of Gold Star Award from the Better Business Bureau three years in a row. Kurt serves on the Board of Directors for the Northeast Ohio Chapter of NARI, The Rittman Area Chamber of Commerce (Vice-President) and the Medina County Young Professionals. Holland Remodeling & Building continually achieves member in good standing status with every chamber he is a member of, as well as various organizations.
Kurt is happily married and the loving father of two athletic sons in the making.
Joe has worked in the Residential and Commercial Industry for 14 Years. He received his journeyman status in 1999 after completing his apprenticeship through the Carpenters Union. His years of experience in the field promoted him to Foreman status on many large commercial jobs. In 2003 Joe left Architectural Interior Renovations to start JHS Construction and in 2007 partnered with Holland Remodeling.
As the Estimator and Project Manager for Holland, Joe is responsible for quantifying hard-bid proposals, issuing all major Subcontracts and Purchase Orders, overseeing and monitoring project budgets, creating and monitoring of progress schedules, value engineering as well as coordinating and conducting project meetings for Holland’s widely diverse group of clients.
Rob has over 25 year’s construction experience in residential and commercial sites. Rob owned and operated a construction company his entire life. In 2009 Rob partnered with Holland Remodeling and quickly became the lead field employee.
As the Project Superintendent, Rob is responsible for all field activities. His duties include the coordination and supervision of all field employees and activities as well as the coordination and distribution of equipment and resources. Rob conducts, when necessary, project meetings with the design team, the owner, as well as subcontractors.
