When Quality Matters, Trust Holland Remodeling & Building.

Step 1. Emergency Services – Akron Fire Boardup

Most projects begin with emergency services to prevent any further losses to your property. This includes boarding up openings, drying wet areas, and removing the contents from your home when necessary.

Holland Crews are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and generally can be on the job within hours. Through Holland Remodeling’s affiliations with a number of cleaning and mitigation companies we have the resources to provide timely protection for all your property and belongings.

Step 2. Contact Your Insurance Company -

Contact your insurance company as soon as possible. Your insurance company will provide authorization for emergency services and schedule an adjuster to visit your property to assess the damages. If you will need to arrange for temporary housing your insurance company will also assist you in this.

Step 3. Meeting With Your Adjuster -

Your insurance company will send out a claims adjuster to your property to determine what repairs are needed. The staff at Holland Remodeling will meet with you and your adjuster to assist in creating the scope of repairs that are needed. It is beneficial for both the Homeowner and the Adjuster to have the Contractor there to determine that scope. Less items are missed on the initial estimate and it also creates a level of trust between all parties to aid in the restoration process going smoothly.

Step 4. Reconstruction -

Akron Fire RestorationReconstruction is the most exciting stage of the restoration process. This is the time when you will begin to see the work coming together. Holland Remodeling stands out from all other Restoration Companies in that we will work with you to allow you to make changes to your home during the Restoration Process. Your insurance company will only pay to restore your property to its previous state, but don’t let this stop you from making your home into what you have always imagined. Talk to us about your ideas, we will work with you to create the home of your dreams.

Step 5. Payment-

Holland Remodeling offers net 30 day terms for most insurance work. Insurance companies often pay directly because all work is pre-approved.

It is the homeowner’s responsibility to cover the cost of any insurance deductible and additional work not covered under the insurance claim on a net 30 day term.

On larger claims, homeowners should contact their mortgage holder (Including any second mortgage holders) to avoid possible delays in the payment process. Many mortgage holders require that they be listed as a payee making their endorsement necessary when payments are issued. The staff at Holland Remodeling will help you at every step to insure this process goes smoothly.
